AMP Comics Brings The Greatest American Hero Reboot to ComicsPro 2026

AMP Comics is set to turn heads at ComicsPro 2026, the comic book industry's premier retailer conference, held February 19–21 at the Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale in Glendale, California — and they're bringing a legend with them.

AMP will present its highly anticipated reboot of The Greatest American Hero to comic shop retailers, with writer Don Handfield and cover artist David Mack on hand to walk attendees through the new series. Joining them will be William Katt, the original star of the beloved 1980s television series, making the presentation a true meeting of the classic property's past and future.

The Greatest American Hero #1 is scheduled to arrive in comic shops on July 29, 2026. The ComicsPro presentation gives retailers an early look at one of AMP's most anticipated releases of the year.
