About the Creators
Don Handfield
STORY & SCRIPT
Don is the co-creator of History Channel drama series Knightfall. He won a Saturn Award for his directorial debut TOUCHBACK starring Kurt Russell and his first comic series THE RIFT was picked up by Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment as the season finale of the Amazing Stories reboot on Apple +. Handfield produced THE FOUNDER starring Michael Keaton and KILL THE MESSENGER starring two-time Academy Award nominated actor Jeremy Renner, with whom Handfield co-founded production company The Combine. Handfield is currently adapting his comic series THE DARK AGE with Jim Kouf (National Treasure, Rush Hour). Handfield has taught film theory and screenwriting at top films schools UNCSA, UCLA and Chapman.

He began his career in comics in 1990, as an assistant to the great artist Jorge Zaffino working for Eclipse Comic and Marvel, while developing his Graphic Design studies at the University. In the early nineties he began publishing his work in his native country Argentina, at Columba publishing house, where he develops miniseries and characters. He created together with other artists the independent publishing house Tridente and to publish material in Argentina and worked for Italy developing series and characters (Aurea Editrice-Roma). Since 2013 he has been working for the American comics market Indi: Wicker, his first work, was nominated for best comic at the Geeki Awards 2014. He also worked with San Francisco-based Black Jack Press on a series of Viking Anthologies. At Zenescope Entertainment, he illustrated horror books (Peek -A-Boo) and the Ripley’s Believe It or Not series. He worked for the RPG publisher “Monte Cook Games”.

Micah Myers is a multiple Ringo Award nominated letterer who has worked on series for DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Mad Cave, Webtoon, Whatnot, Macmillan, HarperCollins, Scholastic, Devil’s Due, Heavy Metal, Aspen, Starburns, Scout, Darby Pop, and many others.
Tawnia McKieman
STORY
Tim Zajaros is a Los Angeles-based producer, writer, and actor who has spent his career championing bold, authentic storytelling. A co-founder of Armory Films alongside partner Christopher Lemole, Zajaros has produced some of the most celebrated independent films of the past decade — including Dee Rees' Oscar-contending MUDBOUND, the Mads Mikkelsen survival epic ARCTIC, and the beloved THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON. A Michigan native and Western Michigan University alum, he cut his Hollywood teeth at talent agency UTA before building Armory into a force in independent film.

Chris Lemole is a Los Angeles-based producer and storyteller, a Villanova University alum who launched his Hollywood career at talent agency UTA. He co-founded Armory Films in 2013 alongside partner Tim Zajaros, producing the cult horror hit ZOMBEAVERS, the Sundance sensation MUDBOUND, the Mads Mikkelsen survival thriller ARCTIC, and THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON. His most recent project, EASY’S WALTZ — written and directed by True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto and starring Vince Vaughn and Al Pacino — arrived in 2025.
